Portraits of the world’s most iconic jazz musicians from photographer Philippe Lévy-Stab.

From May 18th until September 25th La Maison des Etats-Unis will present a series of portraits of the world’s most iconic jazz musicians from photographer Philippe Lévy-Stab. Since the age of 15, the acclaimed photographer has combined jazz music with photography leading him to create portraits of some of the biggest names in the jazz music scene including Bobby Watson, Wynton Marsalis, Art Blakely, Dizzy Gillespie, and Freddie Hubbard. The stunning black and white photographs depicting both musicians and iconic shots of New York have already been featured in exhibitions across the world, alongside the works of other renowned photographers like Henri Cartier Bresson, Roy DeCarava, Bruce Davison, and Edward Weston.
