The sun is finally making an appearance which means it’s time to start planning your picnic. Paris certainly has its fair share of lush parks and gardens, but there is one in particular that is a must. In the 8th arrondissement, you’ll find Parc Monceau, an elegant park that dates back to the 18th century. As you walk around the park in search of the perfect grassy spot in the sun you will discover many statues, a Renaissance archway belonging to the former Paris City Hall, spectacular trees, and a large pond. Stop by a local boulangerie and pick up some sandwiches (just around the corner is Eric Kayser at 85 blvd Malesherbes) or pack a basket filled with goodies. This lovely park also houses the Museum of Asian Arts, Musée Cernuschi, and a large playground, making it the ideal place to bring the family!
